Individual Standard Miniatures

Individual miniatures have a variable pricing dependent on the level of detail inherent in the miniature, the variety of colors requested, and the amount of customization requested.

Minimum Price for individual miniatures is $25 if the miniature is provided by the customer; if the customer requires an appropriate miniature to be found, a $5 service fee and the cost of the miniature (including any shipping and handling fees) are added to the base cost. A further $5 minimum is added onto any miniature with fine details to paint distinctly beyond normal color contrast and shading, increasing based on the amount of detail.

Customization in any form is an extra $10 plus any material or parts costs required. I keep many extra parts and materials for conversion and customization, but this stock needs to be maintained and I usually have to buy conversion pieces by the sprue or by the kit rather than individually.

Large Miniatures

Miniatures of a size larger than what is considered a "large creature" in standard roleplaying games or that are larger than a "large base" unit are priced in the same fashion as individual standard miniatures. Due to the amount of material needed to complete such commissions, all prices are increased accordingly.

The minimum price for large miniatures is $35. Fine detail increases the price by a minimum of $10. Customization of large miniatures requires direct discussion with the customer; due to the amount of material needed and the lack of variety in available pieces, it is not always possible to customize larger miniatures without prohibitive cost.

War Game Armies and Squads

Because of the uniform nature of most armies in tabletop war games, it is easier to paint rank and file miniatures than it would be to paint a similar number of unique miniatures.

Armies/Squads for war games are priced at $3 per miniature, minimum of $45, for standard sized rank and file figures, or $4 per miniature for "large base" figures. Commander figurines, solo units, and other unique miniatures that are part of the army cost $15 each. Figurines or units that are larger than "large base" are priced individually rather than as part of the army due to materials cost, but are discounted so long as customization is not required.

Any army that has 100 or more units or includes one or more units larger than "large base" is also charged a $20 materials fee up front before work begins.

Nonfunctional or Decorative Pieces

All decorative pieces are priced individually and on a case by case basis. Estimates are given once I have received the request and the details and have done a basic calculation of what I anticipate needing. Estimates do not reflect the final cost; the price of a decorative piece is subject to change based on the actual materials and labor required, irregardless of the estimate.
